- LAP SPEED CHART
- The lap speed chart displays the overall combined predicted lap speed of each team. This factors in both drivers, previous race weekends and current weekend sessions.
- This chart may dynamically change from race weekend to weekend as teams and drivers improve over the course of the season.
Motorsport in general is a lot more predictable than other racing codes thanks to the reliability of the machinery. In formula 1, some teams physically can’t win, even they have one of the best drivers on board.
- OUT OF POSITION DRIVERS
- Looking for drivers that have had a poor qualifying session and have to start further down the grid is a perfect place to begin. They are the machinery underneath them to climb up the order and score some good points, even finish on the podium and can present some good value in the market.
- FRONT ROW STARTERS
- Formula 1 cars love clean air. It is easy on the engine and tyres; therefore, starting from pole presents excellent value. Don’t be afraid of the short odds as F1 is man combined machine and main and is a lot more predictable than other racing codes (e.g. Horse Racing).
- MID-BACK MARKER TEAMS
- There are occasions where backmarker teams perform better and specific tracks and have a chance of finishing in the top 10 to score points. Combing this with the “FIN” variable (Finishes Races), you can identify drivers who are good at finishing races and have a chance of picking up some points, especially if there is trouble up ahead in the pack.
