Our second edition of "Deep Insights" explores the "SFR" (Statfreaks Rating) across two of the major metro Sydney and Melbourne tracks. Combined with the Statfreaks "Race Tempo" and "Settling Position" variables we slice and dice historical profit and loss patterns across the 2019 calendar year.
The findings from this analysis expose some interesting insights for each track. The race pace combined with the settle position highlights how "Advantaged" or "Disadvantaged" a runner can be at each track and historically if it is a profitable scenario or not to back certain types of runners.
