Love the distance races at Caulfield, and the second race is a classic contest between the best staying stable and the stable with probably the best Victorian horses going around. Danny O’Brien has three that might hunt in a pack, but the likes of Clementina looks the sharpest. Hasn’t won many, but well weighted and this looks to be her race. She will be assisted by the stable mates in Ignored and Reflect the Stars to ensure that no easy mid sections are gifted. Grand Prominade from the Maher & Eustace yard is the danger, where Johnny Allen could control it from the front and be too good. Still, I believe that stables hunt in packs and sticking with Clementina to break hearts late on.
Good Luck
