Decent race to round out things on a big day at Morphettville. Many of these runners are probably eyeing off the Goodwood, but this is a major chance for Group success some lesser-known chances. The data predicts a moderate pace between two to three leaders and liking the statistics for the backmarkers to come storming home in a wall. By race 9 on a wet day, you would think you need to be off the fence, and there are many barnstormers that will have every chance if they can get the right spot in the wall. Really like the look of Bold Star to be the best of the closers, and with a stablemate on the pace I doubt the leaders will have it their own way. The local Behemoth looks the danger and would love to see Jungle Edge get his chance if he is unchallenged early.
