Decent quality race for this time of year, and a reasonable field accepted. You would expect a leaders track on Saturday at Caulfield, and this race looks to be split between a few quality leaders on a soft pace and a few quality swoopers. Ashlor and Jungle Edge look the goods to get into it early, and they are very high class when they are able to lead uncontested. The data then points to Viridine and Intuition to chase them down, to make an exciting finish. Viridine looks the absolute stand out to bring down the leaders, and looks like he will hold off the others in his trail. Interested to see what Tavisan does in this race, and I Am Someone on the back up might mean something. Still sticking with Viridine to get it done.
