Quality 1400m for the fifth event of the day, and with some bigger fields in the earlier races its hard to know how the track will be. Safe to say if you lead you will at least get the choice. Two runners look strong data wise for this race in Morrissy and Buffalo River. Buffalo River looks the leader and the rain only helps his chances, and Morrissy should be right there on his back. The obvious class horse of the race with strong KPIs is Windstorm, but had a lot to do his last few runs and you can’t keep expecting massive efforts in succession. Lack of pace and ability up front will only make it tougher for the back markers. The data suggests that Morrissy will sling shot from mid field and is great value to roll the leader.
