Decent field for the mile with an import with his first start in Australia, which you have to be cautious of. Vungers looks the obvious leader, and should have an easy time of it up front. Really like the look of D Lane on Skiddaw to do no work from the inside gate and take the trail off Vungers. From there the data says that he can sustain a pace and chase down Vungers and be too strong. Think ‘n’ Fly looks a threat to these two, but sticking with Skiddaw to be too strong at the mile.

| 7 | Aussie Nugget | Had big raps on this guy a few preps back, but he hasn’t really gone on with it. Looks to get back in this race and come flying home, just not sure he will have a good chance with the leaders being strong. Still, has the ability. |
