Roy Higgins Quality, what a jockey. Love the distance races at HQ, and very interesting 2600m on a big day at Flemington. Looks to be a few potential leaders, which might present a big of a jostle out of the straight the first time round. The data suggests that many of these horses have good changes of speed for acceleration, so looking for stronger horses that will mid field and can peel out at the top of the straight. Really like the looks of Stars of Carrum to box seat and finish the race very well. Been racing OK lately and this could be his race. Sin to Win and Mosh Music are proven over the trip, and can’t see them being far away. Bit of an unknown in this race is Skymax, who can pump out the time, but bit of a different story on a firm Flemington race at this grade. Sticking with Stars of Carrum.
