Another cracking edition of the TJ, and many chances in a wide open market. Hard to know what the track will do with the weather, so can only rely on the data at this early stage. You can state a case for almost every runner. More than one leader likely, some very strong finishers, some strong midfield grinders. Liking the look of a strong midfielder in Masked Crusader. He has been flying this prep, and a softer track will help. Just looks like he will shuffle across 3 wide mid field with cover, and has great acceleration to catch the leaders. Bivouac is a bit of the unknown. Coming from further back in this race, he still might be too good for the lot. Nature Strip may have turned the corner in settling better, but he might be less suited without Motor Kah. The data suggests that Nature Strip and Eduardo will lead, Masked Crusader will fly home and catch them followed by Bivouac (who may have given up too much of a lead). Sticking with Masked Crusader.

| 5 | Masked Crusader | Drawn ideally to get a trail into the race from Eduardo, and looks to get an ideal sit from the draw. Midfield and should peel out after the turn, likes give in the ground, value. |
| 6 | Dirty Work | Really like this guy’s run in the Oakleigh Plate where he was unlucky. If he gets enough luck in running he can finish very well. |
| 7 | Order Of Command | Doesn’t look the fastest out, but can rattle home. If there is a mad fight up front, his chances increase to podium |
| 8 | Eleven Eleven | Might ruffle a few feathers early having drawn inside. Expect to see him in the race until the later parts where the data suggests he might fall away. |
| 9 | Libertini | Solid performer but just an awkward draw to get pinned inside. Great swooping speed but will need the running room. |
| 11 | September Run | Love her work, but this is a bit of a step up again you feel. Will find it hard out the back early, and her last run might have knocked her around a bit. Still, have seen what she can do, hope she runs well. |
