Feels like Spring with the first day of quality racing at Caulfield. Nice looking mile for Race 2 with three runners in particular looking stronger than this field. No real pace predicted, and there should be no excuses for the midfielders to get out and make a good run home. Ballet Master, Hi Stranger and No Effort all rate well in this race, with their riders all around the 30% strike rate to place on the Jockey Analysis Tool (JAT). Big fan of Hi Stranger after getting it done easily at the Valley last start, and No Effort was the eye catcher in that same race. But really like the look of Ballet Master at the weights and the draw. He loves Caulfield, and Theo will be able to pick where he runs and finish the race hard. No Effort and Hi Stranger are the obvious dangers, but can’t ignore how the race might pan out for Ballet Master.
