Nice sunny day for a Good 4 at HQ, and what a great day of racing. Decent field quality for the first event, so why not try and get the day off to a decent start. Three runners in particular look very strong here in Tooradin, Killourney and Pondus. Hard to know what sort of pace there will be with a few looking for the lead. Pondus is the class stayer to finish well, and Killourney an import that is having another crack at this trip after a decent run here last start. Tooradin looks very strong to lead and control the race throughout. Lane is a whopping 30.4% strike rate to win on the Jockey Analysis Tool (JAT), and with a quality leading stayer that might just be the edge. If there is no mad dance for the lead, Tooradin is a very strong chance on previous runs. Killourney and Pondus will be making their runs at the top of the turn, but sticking with Tooradin to be too hard to catch.

| 4 | Lunar Flare | Deep into her prep so should have the fitness and drawn well for a cruisy run. Just not sure she has the acceleration later in the race, but if Thornton has no pressure up front then she is every chance to podium. |
| 6 | Coolth | Hard to get a read on this guy, certainly has some ability. Prebble riding well at the minute, and the data suggests he can finish the race very well. Just not sure how he will transit at this trip. |
| 7 | Killourney | Goes OK 2nd up and looks to run a good time in this class. Well weighted against the other midfielders, just unsure where lands from the draw. Expect to see him in the finish. Value. |

| 9 | Blandford Lad | Doesn’t look like an ideal race for him, not much data support. |
