One of the great races, and what an open race this year. You could probably state a case for half of the field, and its difficult to predict the speed and racing patterns for the 9th race on a Heavy 10. The data focuses in on five runners in particular being Forbidden Love, Kissonallforcheeks, I’m Thunderstruck, Lighthouse and Ellsberg. I’m Thunderstruck looks particularly strong in that he can make an early run for home and sustain a strong turn of foot. Kissonallforcheeks is the real unknown here over from WA and a great win last start. She should be right up there and out of the way, and can sustain a great speed. Two other runners that will absolutely fly home at odds looks to be Inspirational Girl and Bankers Choice. If either of these find a good spot to transit, keep an eye out for them late. Sticking with I’m Thunderstruck and Kissonallforcheeks the each way chance.

| 7 | Ellsberg | Obvious leader and loves the going. Had big wraps on a similar profiled Brandenburg a few years ago, and think that this guy will have every chance up front. |
| 8 | Inspirational Girl | The dominant turn of foot in the race. Only problem, giving them a big start from the outside draw. Sir William the top rater in this race. Could be Nettoyer all over again. |
| 9 | Hungry Heart | Tough start, messy in the middle stages and not as strong as most of these finishers. |
| 10 | Icebath | Respect the horse and should enjoy the going. Can pump an even time, but will need it to go all her way to take this out. |
| 11 | Sky Lab | Would be fit from previous runs, but no data support for a good run here. |
| 12 | Kissonallforcheeks | X factor runner for mine. Drawn well for her racing style, and expect to see her in the race very late. Value runner of the race. |

| 14 | Hilal | Not much data support at all for this guy, but have to respect the stable. |
| 15 | Brutality | Huge jump in class here and on the back up. Data says he will get very far back. But, Brutal. |
| 16 | Forbidden Love | Flies the gate and will have to fight to lead. Big ask, but Motor Kah will give her every chance. Will be a super effort to hold them out. |
| 17 | Just Folk | Held out Ellsberg last start and has to be respected. Drawn well but might get caught in the ruck. |
| 18 | Kiku | Respect the horse, but huge class jump |
| 19 | Mr Brightside | Even KPIs for this guy, but the draw with his early speed the concern. Numbers say he will finish the race well. |
| 20 | Converge | Top rated barrier, top rating stable, sound performer. Just doesn’t have the elit turn of foot that is likely to be needed in this race. Hope the last start didn’t flatten him. |
| 21 | Bankers Choice | Data says this guy is the barnstormer of the race. Won’t want a bar of it early. But if there is running room, look out. |
| 22 | King Magnus | Solid performer and will close the race well, but will give them too much of a head start. |
