Reasonable field quality for a day late in June. No real speed in the race, and there seems to be a clear gap on the Stat Freaks Rating (SFR) for the top four runners in Blaze a Trail, Pioneer River, Curran and Skywolf. Nothing groundbreaking when looking at the market, however Pioneer River has some strong KPIs to be on pace from a decent draw. This is strengthened by Richards being 45% to place when on pace at this trip on the Jockey Analysis Tool (JAT). Blaze a Trail and Skywolf rate well, but will get back on a slower pace. Curran the other runner with interesting KPIs to be low level flying home. Looking for race patterns to determine which of these four look strongest, on current pricing Pioneer River looks the value.

Should be prominent early from the draw, and Richards is 45% to place when on pace at this distance on the Jockey Analysis Tool (JAT). Could just get the gun run at decent odds. Value. |

| 11 | The General | Done no favours by the draw, and might have a task to cross them and lead. Doesn’t appear to have the late stamina required at this grade. |
