Race 3, N5 Ravaged Award – Been excellent at both runs this time in and looks to have found a new level. Only narrowly beaten last start when forced to settle back from awkward gate. Drawn ideally here in gate 3 and should get the run of the race either leading or hard on the speed. Looks a nice type with plenty of scope to improve further and looks to have struck another suitable race. Has the highest SFR (Statfreaks Rating) in this race and the highest SFR at the meeting. Angela Jones is going at an impressive 21%-win strike rate when riding horses that settle on speed and a strong 17%-win strike rate when riding in middle distance races.
Race 7, N12 Snow Boum – Could not have been anymore impressive on debut when leading all the way. Strikes a very winnable race here second up and from the good gate will prove hard to catch again. Has the highest SFR in this race and the 5th highest SFR at the meeting. Angela Jones is going at a huge 38%-win strike rate when riding leaders and a very good 31%-win strike rate when riding favourites. She also teams with the T.Gollan yard, together they are going at a solid 20%-win strike rate Trainer/Jockey combo.
