Looks a tough day with a few favourites, that don’t post a heap of confidence. Important to hit the board early while you can. Really liking the look of The Gauch to take out the opener. Liked the look of him before he was scratched last start, and race looks to give him a reasonably easy time up front with no real pace in the race, and what better pilot at the moment to have up front. Dangers look to be Tan Tat Harmony and Rock Prophet not completely out of it. We seemed to have written him off pretty quickly. Hidden Legend also posts some interesting numbers and goes OK first up. Sticking with The Gauch to get us off to a start on a day that we will be happy to just sit and throw a few darts.

| 6 | Mistake | Looks to fly the gate and get some good Tv time, but the class of this race might sort him out later on. |
| 7 | Bianconi Magic | Not an ideal draw to fall out the back from, and will be a lot of traffic to weave later on. Will nee a good start to be a chance. |
| 9 | Tan Tat Harmony | Stokesy has raps for this mare, and she looks very well prepared. Looks to run an even time on pace, and well weighted in this race. Should see her in the finish. |
| 11 | Atomic Lokade | Made the trip for a reason I guess, and she can fly late. Just the way the race looks she might not get a chance. |
| 12 | Harlem Blues | Interesting looking colt with Zahra on board, and you’d think there would be improvement on his last run. If he doesn’t over do it early, a chance to finish well. |
