Very tricky race for the first of the day, but have to make a start somehow. Stablemates for Waller, Payne and O’Brien throws all sorts of strategies over a longer distance. The data says there should be some sort of pace, and for the first race of the day there shouldn’t be too much of a bias. The Payne stable captures the imagine a little more in this race. Cappo D’Oro could just be sent out for Street Sheik who is in a bit of a purple patch at the moment. Waller has brought Toryjoy down which draws attention to Sir Pippin. Sticking with Street Sheik to be dragged along mid field and make an early dance for home. Jye riding well at the moment, and in an open race the dangers are Ryan’s Fender, Sir Pippin and No Commitment.
