Wide open day at Caulfield, and decent field quality for the sprint race 4. No real pace predicted which I think will make it tougher or those horses not up there in transit. The stats say that the rail out 3m will maintain an on pace bias, and some of the more fancied horses will be coming from further back. Strong numbers obviously for Octane and Front Page, but they are stepping up a bit today to a high quality race. William Thomas looks to punch out a time also, but just not sure about the way the race will pan out for him late. Looking at some of the lesser chances in the market that will be closer to the running, and will have an advantage on the inside allies. We have all seen Crystal Dreamer do it before, but Fine Dane has very strong KPIs to make this a real race. Seems to me the type of day to go each way, and Fine Dane looks a real go at the price.
Good Luck
