Strong Field Quality for the staying race of the day. Many well-known horses and some of the old boys trying to salvage something late in their careers. Average pace out of the gate, with a few looking to take up the running. Some great recent wins up against decent Caulfield records, and the data suggests that the prominent horses will race on the pace. Might be hard to come from the back in a race like this, so looking to strong turns of foot in the front half of the field.

| 8 | Lamborghini | Solid turn of foot to close late, but may get too far back. |
| 9 | Crafty Devil | Data says she will run an honest race on the pace and may challenge the leaders. Not the worst. |
