In Race 2 & 9 she teams up with the T.Gollan yard, together they are going at a huge 33%-win strike rate Trainer/Jockey combo.
Standouts:
Race 4, N5 Telephone Booth – Been very good past couple in tougher races than this and looks suited back on top of the ground. Drawn ideally in gate 3 and will enjoy a soft run throughout in behind the speed. Looks to have struck a suitable race to get herself back on the podium. Has the highest SFR (Statfreaks Rating) in this race and the 4th highest SFR at the meeting. Angela Jones is also going at a solid 22%-win strike rate when riding horses that settle on-pace and a strong 29%-win strike rate when on favourites. She also teams up with the M.Currie yard, together they are going at an excellent 20%-win strike rate Trainer/Jockey combo.
Race 9, N9 Typhoon Taavi – Resumes here and is having first start for the T.Gollan yard. Has trialled well and looks primed for a first up assault. Handles all conditions and 1200m fresh looks ideal. Will press forward to lead and if anywhere near right will take some catching. Has the highest SFR in this race and the 6th highest SFR at the meeting. Angela Jones is going at a huge 38%-win strike rate when riding leaders and an excellent 15%-win strike rate when riding in sprint races.
