Race 6, N6 Evocator – Hit the line super latest over 1400m in handy $50K BM68 race at Eagle Farm. Looks well placed here in a race with good speed on paper and the drop back to 1350m will be no issue. He will drift back from gate 6 and in a suitable race, will use his turn of foot to be running on strong late. He has the highest SFR in this race and the 6th highest SFR at the meeting. Martin Harley is going at a solid 11%-win strike rate when riding in middle distance races and a very impressive 42%-win strike rate when riding favourites. This is also Martin Harley’s best ride at the meeting as per our SFR.
Race 7, N8 The Lion’s Gate – Stuck on well to place fresh and will take great benefit from the run. Drawn to get the gun run from gate 3 and has excellent second up form around some handy horses. He has plenty of upside and with the added fitness on his side here he looks a major threat in a suitable race. He has the highest SFR in this race and the 2nd highest SFR at the meeting. Martin Harley is going at a huge 21%-win strike rate when riding in sprint races and a solid 13%- win strike rate when riding horses that settle off-pace. This is also Martin Harley’s second best ride at the meeting as per our SFR.
