High quality race down the straight six for the Bobby Lewis Quality, and some very famous winners of the race. Zoutori comes in as the winner of this race last year, and Tofane comes in off a huge Sydney win at the end of her last prep. Looks to be a reasonable pace set by some of the lesser chances, but usually in these races down the straight riders are reluctant to push early. Looking for the strong closers from mid field to be the stronger chances. Saying that, rain scheduled, and who knows when it will come. If it comes early, the wider drawn probably have the advantage after the middle stages of the race. Zoutori drawing 6 will at least provide an option. Really like the look of Zoutori to get it done again this year, with a decent draw for the run and great turn of foot to suit the possible map of the race. Tofane is obviously the class horse of the race, but first up down the straight in the rain might throw a few curve balls. Mentions for the South Aussie Bold Star and The Inevitable. But in the Spring, don’t ignore the obvious. Previous winners of the race, Zoutori.
Good Luck
