Strong field quality for the 6th event over 1400m. No real pace in the race, with an obvious leader in Too Close The Sun. Looking at some runners that should land mid field with a strong turn of foot. Really like the look of the McEvoy runner in Zoist with McNeil onboard. Stable, jockey and barrier all rate well. Looks like a bit of a target race for him, and he has put in his best performances earlier this prep at the lower weights. Just expect him to really wind up late and come belting home. Bam’s On Fire the other runner that looks to get into a good position in transit, and has a lightening turn of foot against this field. Just always seem to see her running well at Flemington, and can’t see her out of the finish. Tavidance also looks strong but has to beat the gate, and Wetakemanhattan has some strong numbers at a huge price (albeit from almost two years ago..). Sticking with some SA form, putting Zoist on top from Bam’s On Fire.

| 5 | Winning Partner | Similar race to his last start, but a deeper field here. That race didn’t rate too well across the day, but this guy can fly home. Good 2nd up record, might be able to pinch something late if the opportunity presents. |

| 8 | Zoist | Top rating draw, top rating rider in McNeil and looks to have been building for this type of race. Well weighted, really looks like he can finish this race off well. Just needs to jump well and settle better than mid field, and he will be very hard to hold out. |
