Fast paced 1200m on a great day of racing at the Valley. With the rail back in, no point in getting off the fence. An interesting race where the leaders will have to fight to get there, but if they do, will have it easier later in the race (you would think). Could be a bit rough early, and only a few notable back markers. Looking to the strong profile leaders. Really like the look of Age of Chivalry, who fits the gate speed and late acceleration pattern. He gets the gun draw with Lane on board, and he is a 1200m horse. The other horse that popped out was Chicago Cub, who looks to land in a good spot and will be able to launch a while out and enjoy the down hill. Showmanship the obvious threat, but just can’t see him thriving first time at the Valley.
Good Luck
