Quality race for the 3YOs around 1500m, and some sort of pace predicted with a number of runners with early speed. Sharpening the focus on three runners in this race in Tuvalu, I’m Thunderstruck and Demando. Racing at the Valley you would think that midfield or better would be advantageous. Tuvalu a good chance to lead, and Prebble is 21.4% strike rate when leading at this trip on the Jockey Analysis Tool (JAT). If he can control the race up front, he might just be too quick. I’m Thunderstruck is obviously the class horse of the race, and Kah will give him every chance. But coming from the rear for the first time at the Valley with the weight will present challenges. The other interesting runner is Demando with Will Price on board. She looks to be on pace, and Price is 31.3% to place on the JAT. The data suggests that Tuvalu and Domando will be up front and I’m Thunderstruck will be doing the chasing. Sticking with Tuvalu to be too hard to catch, with Demando and I’m Thunderstruck not far behind.
Good Luck

| I’m Thunderstruck | Obvious stand out chance, with Motor Kah posting 19.1% win rate on the JAT when coming from the back of the field at this trip. Not sure The Valley will suit favourable for this horse, but certainly one of the stronger horses in the field. Should be flying home from anywhere. |
| Seiners Express | Not much data support for this guy. Looks like he will struggle early and it might get tougher from there. |
| Rathlin | Doesn’t look to have great early speed, and from the draw could get pinned on the fence. Decent enough turn of foot but will need luck to navigate the field later in the race. |
| Great Diviner | Two on the bounce but a big jump in grade here. First time at the Valley may be a bit daunting, but can certainly run the times. Decent turn of foot, should be there abouts. |
| Tuvalu | Prebble records a solid 21.4% win strike rate from the middle of the field, and this son of Kermadec looks to have decent gate speed to lead this race. He has drawn well to lead and reckon he might be too hard to catch. |
| Basarwa | Lane at 53.8% to place in these races, and this horse looks to be a leader. His late numbers don’t look strong, but the Valley is certainly a plus. Might surprise. |
| Barragunda | Racing very well this prep, and should be up on the speed early. Draw doesn’t help. But if there is no pace early, he is a chance to be in the frame. |
| Demando | Another on pace runner and Will Price returns a 31.3% place strike rate at this trip and the highest market return for the race. This filly will take a trail from Tuvalu and is a great chance to hold on late into the race. Value. |
| Brawl | Drawn well to sit up front in transit. Has the times to go deep into this race, and have to respect winning form. Acceleration a bit concerning for what may be needed to feature in this race. |
| El Santo | Looks like he will fall out the back early, and will make some sort of run late. Might be a bit tough at this grade. |
| Foxgossip | Love the name, but not sure about his chances in this race. Will find it tough from the the early stages of the race. |
