What a day of racing and sport. The Vase is one of the great races for the 3yos on the way to the Derby, and one of the greatest days finished off a few years ago with this race and Sacred Elixer. Soft pace predicted for this race, and looking for the strong midfielders with the experienced jockeys that get it done on the big days. Really like the look of Young Werther to take this race out. Unlucky last start, and looks like he needs further. Oliver the experience to get him there. Cherry Tortoni an interesting runner coming back from a big race in Sydney, and looks to give it a shake. Outside of these two, Lunar Fox is hard to knock at the moment, but it just looks like the pattern of the race and on his previous run Young Werther will be too hard to beat. Enjoy the day

| 5 | Captain Corelli | Looks the obvious leader, and Zahra has been resulting many of the younger horses. If it’s a slow encounter his chances only grow. |
| 6 | Young Werther | Tough watch last start, and obviously a very high opinion of this guy. Even when held up he rates highly in this race. Just needs to get away safely and sit midfield. Looks like he makes an early run and will be very hard to beat. |

| 8 | Sarodec | Looks to get out well and try to shuffle across. Looks like the middle stages of the race might be tough when the better chances make a move. |
