Strong Field Quality and an open field for the McEwan Stakes. 1000m at the Valley is probably a unique kind of race that doesn’t necessarily favor the fastest horses. A lot of strategy coming down the hill to the short straight wouldn’t be natural to most of the field. Like the look of Eduardo to control the race up front and have a better tank than the rest. The obvious dangers from the rear are Booker and Bons Away. Don’t mind the look of Miss Lionidis at longer odds.
