Quality 1800m test at the Bridge for this year’s Henry & Jack West Handicap. In true Henry & Jack West fashion there looks to be decent speed in the early stages. Data point to a few reasonable chances in Eluding, Hasta La Fiorente and Vacant Block. Really like the look of Eluding to sit off the pace and have every chance to use his tank. Stable is flying right now, and the Bridge has been a happy hunting ground for Vorster. Will be an honest race early, but I doubt that will phase this horse. Vacant Block may advantage from the likely on pace bias at that time of the day, and Hasta La Fiorente may be advantaged by the possible race pattern. Enjoy this year’s edition of this great race.
