The market seems confident with this runner, although there are other dangerous in the race therefore cannot justify the short odds.
Race 3: No.1 – Affogato Girl: Ryan has a nice win strike rate at 20% with trainer Kacy Fogden. Stepping up in distance to the 1600m, the data is indicating that his runner may be able to get into a good position during the race from barrier one and save a lot of energy for its run to the line. It did finish well in its last start at Ipswich 16 days ago, with its 4th up start and a Top 3 place strike rate of 67% when settling from the off-mid position this runner is a value play.

Jumping from an easier barrier this start, expected to put in a very strong run. 90% Top 3 strike rate when jumping from barriers between 4 and 7. Unable to find a reason on data why this horse can’t/won’t win and at worse run a place.
Ryan Maloney is expected to have a very solid day and strong chance to win the jockey/rider challenge.
